A transformative approach to teaching climate justice and sustainability

Time to Act is a learning and research project developed jointly by the Centre for Regenerating Futures, Deakin University, and teacher association Drama Victoria.

Our aim is to build a professional learning community for teachers interested in sharing drama/theatre approaches to education for climate change, sustainability, and climate justice.

We welcome teachers from all learning areas, not just drama. Complex problems require creative, innovative approaches that interweave and transcend disciplines. As a community, we are seeking to develop new approaches to teaching and learning that develop empathy, imagination, and inspiration.

Time to Act begins with (re)learning connection to Country. We have so much to learn about the environment and sustainability from Traditional Custodians, who have cared for Country since time immemorial.
