Strategiser is a chance to meet with some Centre colleagues to generate suggestions and strategies to help get your project off the ground. These sessions are informal and a really valuable way to get feedback from experienced colleagues on your research ideas. Participants find these sessions to be a great opportunity to develop ideas.
The Strategiser is a chance to describe to colleagues any current strands of research that you’re trying to tie together, or projects that you are having trouble getting off the ground, and to get help from the ‘brains trust’. I felt so grateful and humbled to have so many smart people listening to my ideas, and now I have some direction for how to move forward, and more clarity around what work I need to do next! Thank you again!!

Previous Strategisers:
- 28th March 2024, where centre members got to share, discuss and get feedback on ideas for 3 different projects.
- 17th October 2023, points for discussion included: How do we help students to read the world? How do we reach the most vulnerable through schooling? Looking for projects that operate at the policy level and are socially provocative. Some strategies included: pursuing a book publication as an initial step, building partners into a community, and pitching a project with a strong reform agenda.
