CRF facilitates connections and fosters collaboration among researchers who are dedicated to taking action through research in the face of urgent global issues. Our work is guided by two interconnected research imperatives that shape our research ecology:
1. Addressing Anthropocene Challenges, and
2. Decolonising Knowledges and Practices.
A distinctive feature of the Centre is our emphasis on relational practice—prioritising interpersonal connection, building community, nurturing wellbeing, and fostering a sense of belonging among colleagues. We see this relational work as essential to building strong research capacity within the Centre and with our partners.
We are actively building the trusting relationships needed to support a powerful transdisciplinary agenda that strengthens research capacity both within and beyond our faculty’s ecosystem.
