Monday 30th September 2024

Dear Centre Members, Aligned HDR Colleagues, and Allied Members,

This week is Australian Wildlife week – see later for details (and online webinar to join). It is also the week before our next On Country event. Please see the details in our newsletter below. All members and HDR colleagues are welcome and allied members can let us know if you are around and want to come too. If you do not have a calendar invite please let us know in the CRF inbox regeneratingfutures@deakin.edu.au.

This On Country event is quite special – as we are heading out of the city to the You Yangs Regional Park or Wurdi Youang. Along with eating and spending time outdoors and at this interesting and important location we will engage with Inga Simpson – a well known writer. See details below and hope for great Poorneet weather.

We welcome several new allied members to the CRF and look forward to engaging directly as the opportunity arises. We have some Futures Forums coming and the Regenerator is just around the corner.

The Post Doc funding is ready – please consider if you have some graduated PhD colleagues you might like to support. Similarly, we are looking to engage with some key researchers around the work in our Turbo charger… please share ideas of your leading researcher. Finally, the CRF is eager to connect and partner with centres, institutes, associations, and organisations – if you have suggestions please let us know.

Best wishes to all for a great week!
