The Enabler funding is a targeted research support scheme to provide dedicated assistance to Centre projects (aligning and emerging). Through application, members can source funding to enable organisational support, communications and engagement and impact support, project planning, grant writing, literature review, ethics planning and writing, videography, graphic design, transcription, and survey support. The Research Enabler strategy focuses on producing tangible outputs and generating future research income, and is for CRF members to support you to get research moving – either at the start or to wrap up, or even to move things along in the middle.
CRF – Post Doctoral Project Support 2025
After the successful introduction of this initiative in 2024, the CRF is eager to continue to support graduated PhD colleagues as they transition to lead their own research and build Post Doc applications. The CRF will provide a home and collegiality as we endeavour to connect the graduated PhD colleague with a CRF member who is interested in collaborating. The CRF member will stand in as the CI on the research application (the CRF Enabler) that can provide some Research Fellow funding to enable a small aspect of research to be undertaken now (this 11 of 17 might mean preparing an external grant application, co-publishing research outputs, or proceeding with data collection). The intention is to support graduated PhD colleagues and CRF CIs to generate a track record together to build a case for external funding success.
Criteria for request assessment
The project reflects the Centre for Regenerating Futures ethos/ philosophy, which is led by a Centre for Regenerating Futures member and includes members and allied members (and possibly Aligned HDR students).
- Project contributes to outputs and impacts (eg, external funding or Q1-2 publication).
- Project acknowledges the Centre for Regenerating Futures in any output (conference, manuscript, media).
- Efforts will be made to distribute funds across the Centre for Regenerating Futures membership.
