If we can work together to imagine desirable futures, we can take steps to realise them.
Artefacts of the Future is a learning and research project developed by researchers at the Centre for Regenerating Futures, Deakin University.
Our aim is to help young people understand and tackle big challenges like climate change and biodiversity loss. In this project, students learn about sustainable living, and use art to express their ideas for a better future. We want to know how young people imagine possibilities for change!
We aim to make learning about challenging issues fun and meaningful. Our project is inspired by a pedagogy of hope, where students get to shape their own futures and feel a sense of responsibility and power. The program is designed to build students’ autonomy and creativity.
