Dear Regenerating Futures Colleagues!

On Country Day #1 is THIS week!  We are really pleased to be collaborating with Industry partners – Willum Warrain! This event will be an exceptionally embodied learning: we will garden, yarn with Uncle Peter, and eat locally produced foods. We have the possibility of a ferry ticket for colleagues from Geelong – please let us know today…. And we have 3 tickets remaining – again please confirm today. These events enable us to practice decolonising while learning with and about culture. We value the industry and First Peoples’ relationships we establish with care.

Last week we enjoyed an incredible Futures Forum – thanks to Oscar for sharing his film “A Short Film About Anything” as well as the philosophy and unfolding of creative praxis. The recording is highly recommended – if only to enjoy his film!

Next week we collaborate with an important RF international partner – CUHRE as Danielle Wilde invites us to eat together at a Futures Forum purposefully timed for 4 pm on Tuesday 21st April. Read below to be prepared.

The RF supported our community of researchers in the recent Strategiser, which focussed on 5-year planning and how to strategically structure plans to enable research success. The next Strategiser (19th May @ 2pm) looks in more detail at the funding sources and how to carefully plan this year’s strategic research action. The RF members participating in the Incubator are curating these ideas into their own practice across this year. The RF Strategiser and RF Regenerator form part of the RF Incubator – a program co-designed for and by 15 RF members looking to strategically plan their research trajectories.

Best wishes,

Peta and Jo
