Due to a university re-structure, we have begun 2026 as the Regenerating Futures – Faculty Research Group – resplendent with a new logo and budget! We retain the same email regeneratingfutures@deakin.edu.au
As a Faculty Research Group we engage with colleagues across the faculty and beyond. We acknowledge our 65 RF members, 39 Graduate Research Colleagues, and 79 allied members. Peta and Jo continue as co-directors and have been designing an engaging program of events to interest, curate, decolonise, build capacity and community across the year. Please see our calendar of events below.
We have also taken a moment to conduct an impact analysis of our 3 years as the CRF. Thank you to those many members who gave an hour to participate in a focus group. The data we collected is invaluable and many quotes have been strategically placed throughout our website.
Our RF plan on a page is below. It represents our RF strategies as either Researcher Capacity building or Research Community building, or both. As a research group our aspiration is to support our members to generate research activity and outcomes leading to impact. We have designed a new strategy that we believe will scaffold some of us to greater research capacity and success across the year – this is the Incubator – a bespoke strategy open to those who are planning to focus energy into their research activity in 2026 – see invitation below.
