Dear Centre Members, HDR Colleagues, and Allied members,
We have been rescheduling a few events lately – acknowledging that sometimes unexpected things come up for presenters and we all need to look after ourselves and each other… and simply change the date. We value our collaborators and you – our members. We appreciate that changes in scheduled events can feel frustrating, yet we are committed to honouring each of us and ensuring our colleagues can give us their best. We have now rescheduled our Futures Forum with Kathryn Riley, our Regenerator with Louise Phillips and our On Country Day #2 at Common Ground – Geelong. You should have calendar invites and the details are below in our newsletter.
Are you planning to come to the CRF Retreat (Wednesday 11th – Friday 13th June)… it is going to be super! We are planning for public transport (train) to get us to Warrnambool and back. We have an exciting creative and embodied activity for Wednesday afternoon – by the river on campus before we settle into some yarning around the fire pit at the Hycel facility. Thursday is your day – with great food and even better company you will be able to work on the Warrnambool campus – there are loads of great places to take yourself for inspired writing time (or just hang out in your room). Friday we will canoe our way down the river while focussing on our decolonising and culturally regenerative practices. So – save the dates and plan to join us… numbers are limited! Registrations will start soon (via humanitix).
In this newsletter we detail and highlight our aMAYzing May CRF events with 3 fabulous Futures Forum presentations this month and our next On Country day on 19th May combines farming, food and friends.
Don’t forget our rescheduled Regenerator – Amplifying research/er outreach: Planetary explorations on May 8!
We are also amplifying many different research opportunities including festivals, symposia, conferences and publications aligned with our Centre themes. Enjoy the merry month of May!
Best wishes.
