On Country day #2 has been postponed!!
We are really sorry to have needed to postpone the On Country day in Geelong – scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 8th April). Thanks to Lachy and Jayne-Louise who were committed to going ahead… too few were able to take advantage of the opportunity. We will reschedule for some time in May. Look out for the calendar invite coming soon.

Victoria’s Climate Change Strategy – Survey – Closes 11:59pm, Tuesday 8 April 2025
Please answer the following questions to have your say on Victoria’s 2026-30 Climate Change Strategy. You do not need to answer every question. The summary paper available on the overview page of this consultation provides information relating to these questions. See here.
Now that the election has been called… It is time to inform yourself about who stands for what and how we need to act to ensure the kind of future we want. See here a great report prepared by the Climate Council. Look out for more reporting to come out soon. The Climate Change Education Summit/Strategy project – championed by the CRF last year – is preparing a report card for all candidates about their climate change education commitments. We will report on this in the next newsletter!
Updates on ARC funding These are the proposed new ARC programs There remain a few programs (that we are familiar with) available still this year. And as we get more information we will share this.
Also a heads up that Deakin’s response involves research ecology change and we will keep you informed as opportunities for the CRF going forward become clear.
